2024-2025 Sports Zone Academy Softball Catching Class (10u -18u)

Sports Zone’s Softball Catching Class with former Syracuse University Softball player Geana Torres. The class has detailed fundamentals that high level softball catchers rely on in their game to keep them playing at a Elite Level.

What is covered?
Fundamentals on, the set up with no runners on base, with runners on base. Glove actions: receiving strikes and picking short hops, blocking, glove transfer, throwing footwork, throwing mechanics, throwing programs. Fielding the position: bunt plays, pop ups, plays at the plate, and responsibilities on the field.

 

Tuesday Nights @ Sport Center :

Session 1: November 12, 19, 26, December 3, 10, 17

Session 2: January 7, 14, 21, 28 , February 4, 11

Session 3: February: 24 March 3,11, 18, 25, April 1
