Syracuse Sports Zone 6-5 in 8 innings

Congratulations to Syracuse Sports Zone's 14u team, for their participation in the 14u USA Baseball Cup at the USA Baseball Training Complex in Cary, NC.  They compiled an impressive .375 batting average and a .495 on-base percentage.  The USA Baseball Cup is an invite only tournament comprising of the top 10 14u teams in the country.  During the tournament the 15u USA Baseball National Team practiced at the facility and was attended by over 50 college and pro scouts.  We look forward to another successful tournament in 2014.  Tryouts for the 14u Sports Zone national team will be held at Sports Zone in the fall.  Check back for further information.

Game 3: won 10-5 vs Victory
Game 4: won 13-0 vs Victory (Semi Final)
Game 5: won 9-1 vs Salt City Clippers (Championship)

Sports Zone had 51 hits during the 5 game tournament leading them to win the championship.  The offensive was led by Mike DeStefano who went 10-12 over the weekend including 4 HR's.  Colin Williams and Drew Bristow each had 3 HR's and Owen Parliament and Jake Wheeler each had 2 HR's.


Clarence 12u Memorial Day Weekend Tournament: May 23rd, 24th and 25th

Game 1: Won 8-0 vs Northtown Nationals
Game 2: Won 10-0 vs West Seneca
Game 3: Won 7-0 vs Clarence Reds
GAme 4: Won 2-0 vs Team Easton Titans (Semi Final)
Game 5:  Won 4-3 vs Clarence Reds (Championship)

Sports Zones Dominate Pitching allowed only 3 runs in 5 games to capture the 2014 12u Clarence Memorial Weekend Tournament.  The Zone pounded out 44 hits led by Owen Parliment 7-13 and Colin Williams 7-14 weekends.  Colin Williams and Drew Bristow added a home run each.  Murphy Foss' game tying single in the bottom of the 6th during the championship game followed up by Jake Wheelers (Tournament MVP) walk off double clinched the Championship game victory.

Form your own team or play on a house team in the all new On-field League played at our new 30,000 square foot facility in Camillus, NY.  Teams consist of 5-8 players with a ton of action and plenty of at bats.

Sports Zone  classes focus on fundamentals and valuable skills of baseball at every player level while learning from professional instructors that provide a fun and safe teaching atmosphere
Sports Zone has baseball cage rentals, indoor baseball field rentals, or pick any of the three facilities to rent out.  Great team rental options or great for tryouts of all ages.  We have pitching machines and portable mounds available.

Sports Zone now plays host to multiple tournaments throughout the year that brings competitive teams from all over the northeast area.  Highlighted by the Sports Zone Invitational Tournament and Showcase held in late July.

Sports Zone Camps are available during the school and summer breaks for all ages and skill levels. Camps are limited in size so register quickly for one or more of our available camps

The Sports Zone Facilities keep getting bigger and better every year.  We now have 3 locations, 16 batting tunnels/cages, a 30,000 square foot facility for indoor baseball games, pitching machines, portable mounds and the Probatter Simulator.
